ABOUT US

We are a group of volunteers who are stationed among doorways of Upper Room and "Welcome" new visitors to every service and event. We offer a warm smile, a handshake, and some words of kindness to those who otherwise may not even speak to another person.

MISSION STATEMENT

We acknowledge that there are many people, especially first time visitors, who probably don't know a lot of people and may tend to feel like "outsiders." It is our goal to immediately come against these feelings, by creating a personal moment for every individual the moment the enter our doors. By making visitors feel more comfortable, they will more quickly open up to making friends, investigating more about Upper Room, and hopefully becoming members of Upper Room's family, if not at least "Family Friends." Which enables us to be personally connected with them and offer all of the help and support that we have been ordained by God to offer.
