ABOUT US

The Altar ministry was initiated out of obedience to the great commission of Jesus Christ to his church. We are to go into all the world, preach the gospel, and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18-20, Mk. 16:15-20). As part of fulfilling His commission, the Altar ministry was birthed to pray for lost souls, welcome new believers, and contribute to discipling these precious people.We are laborers for Christ that help bring in His harvest of people (Lk. 10:2), so they can begin a wonderful love relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ! Our Altar ministers are involved in all of our Evangelistic meetings (i.e. If I Die, Before I Wake; Christmas and Easter Cantata's, IMPACT outreaches, etc.). We love to share the Gospel with others!

MISSION STATEMENT

The Altar ministry consists of born-again believers that actively engage in fulfilling the commission of Jesus Christ to his church. We gather together to pray for the lost, welcome new believers into the family of God, and help build-up new Christians. Our mission is to colabor with our Lord to gather in His harvest of people and help build them up in the things of God. We express the love of God to others through our prayers, embrace new believers at altars of salvation, and celebrate newness of life with new Christians! We give new believers a copy of the Word of God to start their Spirit-filled journey and encourage their participation in the local church.
