Marilyn was saved in 1972, just before graduating high school. Shortly thereafter she was visited by the Manifest Presence Of God in a "face to face encounter with Jesus Christ."Her spiritual training began in Sayville Gospel Tabernacle, and with a overwhelming hunger for the Word of God she went to Pinecrest Bible Training Institute in Salisbury Center, N.Y. After 31/2 years of study, she graduated and then met her husband John.
Both were ordained by Wade Taylor and Barbara Massie into full time ministry in 1978, began Pastoring in Endwell, N.Y. and later in Cortland, N.Y. for 81/2 years, and have also had experience on the missionary field. Marilyn and John have two children; Jesse and Elizabeth.
In 1991 they found their home at Upper Room Christian World Center. In 1996 she was commissioned as president of our bible school, and ordained a Prophet and Teacher in 2008.
Pastor Marilyn has a burden and passion for the "Word of God" and imparting that love and passion to others of all ages. Her vision is to build a school(s) so others can "see Jesus" in the pages of the written Word, and "learn to hear God's voice" by the tools of apostolic and prophetic teaching and training. She also has a burden to see young people answer Jesus' call.
