Pastor John has been involved in music all of his life not only as a singer, but also as a musician, songwriter, and recording artist. He was radically saved in 1974, and ordained to full time ministry in 1978. John received his theological training at Pinecrest Bible Training Institute, where he also met his wife, Marilyn. Together they have 2 children, Jesse David and Elizabeth Joy. His calling is that of a Prophet, and he ministers in preaching, teaching and song. He has Pastored and pioneered churches in Upstate, New York, and has also traveled doing missionary work. John and his wife came to Upper Room in 1991, and he was ordained as a Pastor in 1993. He serves as the Pastor of the music ministry, and leads in prophetic worship, referred to by many as the singing Prophet. Pastor John also teaches in our Bible Training Institute, in which his wife Marilyn is the President. Together they joyfully serve the Lord as an anointed and powerful prophetic team.
