“Martha had a sister called Mary, which sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard His Word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:39-42) Here’s what I’m saying today; Satan will use any means necessary, even a brother or sister, to prevent us from securing an intimate position at the feet of Jesus. He knows our effectiveness in ministry depends on our Sabbath rest posture at the Lord’s feet. You see, we can not impart what we have not received and we cannot minister what has not been ministered to us! Therefore, it is vital that every believer secure his position at the feet of Jesus.
Rev. 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
