Pastor Bing Cheng

Bing Cheng is one of the pastors at Upper Room. He is from Malaysia, and his wife, Teresa, is from Indonesia. They met in college and were married two years after Teresa graduated. They have been blessed with two beautiful and amazing children: Earnestiena and Nathaniel Cheng. Pastor Bing grew up in Chinese Buddhism, and had never heard about Jesus Christ. In 1992, God started His work in him and in a short period of time: he, his parents and three siblings came to accept Christ. Their lives have never been the same since.

Pastor Bing’s ministry in the church involves in the Asian Outreach, co-hosting Christian Chamber of Commerce, and preaching the words of God. He also has a full time career as an Agency Director, and has been in the Insurance and Investment industry for over twenty-four years. Pastor Bing and his wife are also involved in other businesses and in other marketplace ministries. Their vision is to see God transforming the people around them, especially in the marketplace, and raising up many great God-fearing marketplace leaders. They also have their hearts toward Global transformation in the next generation to excel and proclaim the name of the Lord in their lives.
