Teacher Richard VanBenthuysen

Richard VanBenthuysen was saved in December of 1980 and joined Upper Room Christian World Center in November of 1982. He has served in a number of ministries: including Sound, Youth Church, and the Audio Tape Ministry.

​He joined Upper Room Christian School in 1992 as a High School Science Teacher. He has taught: Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. He also began a program for advanced classes on Saturdays; teaching: Calculus I, Calculus II, Vector Calculus, Circuit Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Vector Mechanics (Statics), and Fluid Mechanics.

Mr. VanBenthuysen was ordained a teacher to the body at Upper Room in August of 2007. He then joined Upper Room Bible Training Institute, where he has taught: Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Life Of Christ, Christian Faith and Ministry, Signs and Wonders, Spiritual Warfare, Contemporary Theology, and the book of Romans.
